If you think Amos Roberts, Danny Tickle, Thomas Bosc and Paul Deacon & Paul Sykes are all below average kickers then fair enough.
Our 2 losses could have easily been 2 wins, you make your own luck.
they were on the nights/days they played against cas, tickle usually slots them over from anywhere on the pitch, deacon the same, bosc to all accounts had to face a strong wind to tie the game, as you say you make your own luck, roberts not sure, as richards usually kicks, cas have been outscored on 3 of those matches, one day their luck may run out!
good job none of them had half decent goal kickers for them games against cas
4 wins could've easily been 3 losses and a draw, but fair play to them, they play open attractive rugby, it's refreshing to see a top 5 without the usual suspects
Cas have also lost two close games in which their own kickers couldn't match those of Quins and Huddersfield, so they could easily be even better placed right now. Almost anyone could finish as high as third, but I fancy Huddersfield, or possibly Warrington if Tony Smith can exert his influence quickly enough.

take away the top 2, and salford(sorry, they just look so poor), this season is going to be un-predictable, even celtic are starting to get closer to teams

Incorrect, Cas have only been outscored once and that was against Hull FC by 4 tries to 3.
The majority of Hull fans who posted on here after the game were magnanimous enough to acknowledge Cas were the better team on the night and deserved their victory.
Our luck will run out, it even runs our for the great clubs like Leeds & Saints eventually, but for now we'll just enjoy the moment.
Cas were regular contenders for major honours right up to the mid 90's, I know some newbies and youngsters might think our place is (and always has been) fighting for the wooden spoon or in NL1 but being at the right end of the table and winning trophies is not an alien concept for all Cas fans.

never stated you wasn't the better team, you were on the night, just pointed out that cas were outscored 4 tries to 3
Im glad cas are looking good, gives leythers like me a hope that we could one day compete. Celtic are starting to look well-drilled, if they played salford now i think theyd win, and at least i understand why theyre in super league, i think widnes would be a credit to the sport.
At the end of the day we are 4th at the minute and no one can take that away from us, and for me we deserve to be there.
We wont finish 4th we might not even finish in the top 6 but i think we're guaranteed top 8 this year. We had a few injury's today for the first time and still won so everything is going ok and you can't really ask for much more.
Leigh, Widnes and Halifax all have the potential to do what we are doing so far this year (from the Championship teams) and who knows, maybe they will.

There was a virus running through the team, evans and jones both had the virus. There was 3/4 others who played yesterday with the virus but not as bad as the other 2.
It's refreshing to see the team sticking with it with 14 mins to go at 26-10 down and come back and score 3 tries and 3 goals to win us the game.
Different mentalaty at the club these days and a definatly top 8 finish for me.....doubt we'll be to 4 though, BUT who know's.
George Bush says 'we are losing the war on drugs'. Well you know what that implies? There's a war going on, and people on drugs are winning it! Well what does that tell you about drugs? Some smart, creative motherfookers on that side."

Did the wind die down when Dixon kicked for us then, then pick back up when Bosc kicked? Er....I didn't thinks so. Take your blinkers off.
