Get in Widnes, will be cheering on every team Salford play until that idiot does the inevitable, realises he's wasting his time / money and moves on to another toy. :)

He just needs to realise it won't be an overnight success!

The sports needs more of this kind of guy with the vision and money he has - he just needs to reign in his expections and realise that top 4 in the 1st season is very very unlikely no matter how much cash he splashes!

I'm not sure I understand this attitude.

I agree, its nice to see Billy Big Balls get knocked down a peg or two and get shown its not as simple as throwing a bit of money about, but you sound like you want him to leave when people like him, willing to invest substantial amounts into our sport, are few and far between.

Loved the way he was on camera saying "F***OFF" towards the referee at the end of the match last night.

The evidence can be seen on that popular video website by searching for 'naughty naughty marwanK'

Stay classy Salford.

I'm hoping that that kind of thing is just to generate media interest and get Salford fans enthused. If it is, then fantastic, if he genuinely expects that then it's a problem.

Yeah I don't understand that attitude either. I'm no fanboy of Dr Koukash but I'm not going to hope for him/Salford to fail. On the contrary RL could do with him succeeding, it might encourage more people with money to get involved.
I just want Dr Koukash to spend his money in the right way so as to build a strong and sustainable Salford so that when he does leave (whenever that may be, could be decades but it'll happen eventually) Salford are able to continue without his money.

It's an especially strange attitude to have from a fan of Hull KR. A club that has relied on significant amounts of money from its owner.

I quite like him, but him along with a few Salford fans have gone over the top with their comments about top 4/6. 8th would be a good season for them.

Impressed with Johnson and Walton, so many good players coming from the championship recently.

When Chase comes back I would keep Fages in and drop Smith, who IMO is average and only plays well 1 in 4 games, personally I'd rather have Sneyd than him.

Also the owner of a club who is on friendly terms with Dr K.

Nice to see that failed hoodwinker of the drugs in sport organization apparently telling the public that there was a record advance sale of tickets for the game which would result in a record attendance.Another epic fail.
Has Mr O'Connor not donated any more money to Bradford and maximized publicity on the generosity of his 10k contribution from the multi-millionaire?

Stay classy,Widnes.

He's a character and any one who brings drive ambition and money into our game, needs to be applauded and accepted in our game, only hope he is in it for the long term and does not take his bat n ball home when he realises that money alone wont buy success. But I honestly think he probably knows that already and has a 3-5 year plan, and if Salford win trophies in the next 3-5 years that will be a success.
