Gutted - if your figures are correct we've somehow lost 15,000 fans in the last 48 hours!

Joking aside you certainly took a lot to Cas last year, certainly the 2nd best in the league behind Leeds. We also had a lot of fans at the NRC final in 05' if you can remember it.. i would say there were a lot of KR fans there too, cracking day out. For me Wigan,Saints,Warrington didn't bring a lot to Cas (you could mabye exclude Wigan from that though) for the size of their clubs. Wakie,Hull and Bradford brought a lot more than i would have expected. Expected a lot from KR from the games i've been to not related to Cas. Salford brought a pathetic following on Saturday and Quins and Cats were both expected because of how far away they are.

Huge respect for Cas, one of my all-time fav SL teams and a genuine class about them (remember seeing one of your fans congratulate Leroy Rivett after the 2005 NRC Final, which sums up the decency of your support).

Hey, re that day, IIRC you had just over 6000 fans there. Do you realise that this means you were just as well supported at this as Hudds were at the CC Final the next year (as we were at the 2006 NL1 Final compared to them).

So far outr as to be unbelievable . We had well over 10,000 there. :P

But the problem with HKR is not the facy that they take so many fans away it is the quality of them. Bradford fans last week were complaining about the KHR fans who came for the first game of the season. Apoparently they were fighting amongst themselves, and they had to close some of the bars as well as the disabled toilets.

If Hkr could take away 2,500 fans to every game but leave the 250 idiots at home that might be better.

additionally if HKR fans stopped carping about their support vis a vis other teams they may get a bit of respect particularly as they only tend to have short term memories

Unfortunatley LF may have a point about the evolutionary ladder.

Luck is a combination of preparation and opportunity

Just to avoid confusion Starbug is the username of Steven Pike

SOMEBODY SAID that it couldn’t be done
But he with a chuckle replied
That “maybe it couldn’t,” but he would be one
Who wouldn’t say so till he’d tried.
So he buckled right in with the trace of a grin
On his face. If he worried he hid it.
He started to sing as he tackled the thing
That couldn’t be done, and he did it!

Had to laugh at the letter ion League express, from a hkr fan who claimed that the Bradford Bulls Chairman was wrong in his assessment of how many rovers fans were at osdal recently when infact apparently rovers took 5000

It was a misprint. It was meant to read 50,000.

repeat whatever figures you like it doesnt mean your right :-

It was Huddersfield's first appearance in the final of rugby league's most prestigious knockout competition for 44 years and attracted a crowd of 65,187.

Unfortunately, it was to end in bitter disappointment for the 12,000 Giants fans who made the trip to the capital, with red-hot favourites Saints securing a 42-12 triumph

maybe that newspaper report from the time is wrong then ??
