Yes. My point was that when Wakey were higher Cas would still have been favourites to win a clash at that time.

Maybe so, but home advantage is not much of a deciding factor in games nowadays. Clubs are just as likely to lose both home and away.

Are you answering for "manly4ever" or that your own personal opinion?

As a Wakey fan we have many things to be confident about going into this game, such as the return to full fitness of several senior players, the introduction of our new Aussie signing to bolster our pack. The excellent results and performances in adversity leading into this game. The way Kear can get us to perform in the underdog situation.

In all honesty up to this point in the season there has been little between the teams IMHO. This game is an even money shot as I see it. Although you would expect Castleford to be at least 4 points Favourites with the bookies, purely because of home advantage.

It should be a great game in front of a great crowd. I'm just getting flashbacks to 2006 with some of the Cas posters on here, and we all know how that turned out. Just incase MR Kear has motivation problems perhaps you could get that character with the plane to fly some kind of gloating banner.

As ive said before quite a few of my family are wakey fans and i dont mind them doing well just not a cas' expense :-)

I cant wait for this game and as for being confident, i personally am not, being a cas fan for the last 20 years or so, the last 5 have taken there toll and because of that i am sort of expecting us to fall flat soon, hopefully that wont happen.

What i was saying in the earlier post is the Cas team will be confident of the start to the season and will be looking to carry that on into this match, im not talking about Wakey here because of course they will be confident aswel.

Anyway good luck for friday and see you all down at the jungle next week for what should be a cracker of a game in front of a packed house.

It was a great comeback but Bradford have gone downhill last 2 years and imo they wont even get near the play offs this season

Cas have some decent players like Hudson, Westerman, Shenton and Sherwin but theres a good few players like Higgins, Dixon, Feather who are well below average.. Castleford arent good enough for a top 4 finish yet but will get in the top 8

Alot of hull fc fans have a downer on higgins, but he has come on alot since his hull days, but for us he's mr consistent and always makes yards, not in the top 10 props in the league but i would say he is in the top 20.

Dixon isnt great but he knows his way to the tryline (5 tries) and has won us games with his kicking this season (most of kicks have come from the touchline to), so he isnt doing bad for us.

As for feather you couldnt have go it more wrong, he's been out top prop in a front row that has dominated a few teams this season and matched the rest. I wasnt happy with his signing at first, but i was way off the mark, he's suffered from injuries these last few years alot and thats affected his form, now he's fully fit he's been great, a number of bulls fans have commented that he was playing far, far better than he did for them.

Did anyone notice what a monster Feather has turned into? I had to ask some lads in the pub after the game who he was. They showed me the programme and he's put on a shed load of timber and ran it in hard every time. Good luck to the bloke - I hope his string of freakish injuries are behind him.

We have quite a few players other fans dont rate based mainley on there previous club form elsewhere, but the likes of feather, jones, netherton and evans have all been excellent for us this year.

As i've stated before i dont think we will be top 4 at the end of the season but top 6 is certainly a possibility and top 8 i would say is more than likely.

Feather has been superb for us, a lot of the Bradford fans couldn't believe he was the same player after the match, one said he'd turned into a beast. Dixon is poor though.
