Ah so you have to quote a play off game to prove a point.

That wasn't the point been made.

That play off game is a ridiculous comparison, it's like us saying we took 5K plus away to Doncaster for the semi and then passing it off as our typical away support.

I've been to most Wakey/Wires games in the SL era and confidently say that Wakeys away following at Wires has been a lot bigger than Wires away following at Wakey. In all truth the last two years Wires have brought little more than Quins.

Here's a question for you Mr Phallus.

You state:

"position on the Super League table -- namely being at the bottom or not -- is not a major issue for a license renewal decision. The other criteria are more important".

Do you think that's a good thing or a bad thing - in sport? In sport - how much credence should we put upon clubs' actual performance on the pitch?

Everything because THAT is what all sports are about.

Sadly though, those who control the game and finances think different and prioritise in a different way.

Calm down fella, I was actually responding 'in kind' to the ridiculous posts of Alice's Phallus and if anything was having a pop at him/her.

Beleive me I know plenty about Widnes and their Academy set up!

My experience of the Warrington away following is that they are poor in terms of numbers. Not only at Wakefield but it's also noticeable that they have been poor at other grounds as well!

Absolutely spot on. All I want is to watch a game and hopefully my side win, winning is everything in sport.

I like Wakey and I'm keeping an eye out for them after the hospitality in the Challenge Cup game but, come on, just have a think about this one, yeah?
