The Rugby Football League are in the process of reviewing the video that you are referring to. We do not condone behaviour of this nature and have contacted the player’s employer, Hull F.C., who have confirmed that they are dealing with the incident under their club rules.
Actually, what it shows is that the Warriors employed a new Marketing Manager at the end of the 2009 season who over the course of 2010 looked at ways to increase crowds through new startegies and channels...put together a massive and comprehensive report and marketing plan in association with other "outside" marketing advisors and NZRL, which was accepted by the Warriors board...the additional money was allocated to the campaigns and hey presto.....you get more fans.
BTW.....If you think marketing anything is "easy" you really are an idiot If it was easy to market RL.....the NRL would get bigger crowds than the AFL!
was watching an nfl doco. on one of their teams and they used the term bomb to describe those long high passes from quaterback to running back and i think gibson took that idea, realized you cant throw the ball forward in RL and adapted it to a "bomb" kick we have

I would love to think it was that easy....but it isn't....trust me. We did consider getting Bon Jovi involved though 9,000,000 hits....still makes me chuckle

And when did 66% mean nearly 100%?
4,832 in 2010 = 100% 8,042 in 2011 = 3,210 more than 100%, an extra 66%. So, sales are up 66%. For what it's worth, outr target is 10,000.....that would be 141% by the way

Up 66% I can handle, but hudds1895 claimed it was nearly double.
Now I know maths isn't my strong point but 66% isn't 'nearly double'

warriors apparently added 2200 members in the same week the S15 season started. lol
you post this like it's something I don't know already.....I am well aware of exactly how many members my client has signed up...I get paid on every one over last years total. Jog on dally....you have no place on these boards any more......you asked for a moderator...you got one...he banned your mate....you have been shown up for what you are....do yourself a favour and stop posting 9,000,000 hits.....................................
League Rules....but sometimes gets followed by fools!
Dropkick Murphy..we actually saw and heard a mass of bouncing and scarf and flag waving to Dale Cavese that drowned out anything we could muster.. It stopped us singing our own celebratory songs, it died out seconds later when we accepted we couldn't be heard over the Wigan lot Celebrations muted from us, job done from them. Most fans who slag them off are jealous their own club's support is nowhere near that good - sally cinnamon..Why not discuss Wigan? It's a rugby league message board. Wigan are the most famous brand in rugby league - Tre Cool..Saints fans are hopeless unless it's a cup final or grand final. Wigan fans are so much more loyal and passionate - the flying biscuit..Wires havent been massively succesful over the years, but I've spoke to Brian Bevan And he spoke to me and i wouldnt swap that for Wigans History, ever - Ande..on the TV i could only hear the Wigan fans with about 10 to go - Saint94..Every team is in your feckin shadow, we all know - FIOS

Bulldogs have gone through the 10,000 mark for season ticket holders for the 1st time !
Ticketed Members As Per Today's Tele... What the figures do show is the the Bulldogs should really start pushing some non-ticketed options... Almost 90% of our members are season ticket holders (Unlike most other clubs). Brisbane - 12,421 Canberra - 5,175 Bulldogs 10,076 Cronulla - 2,679 Gold Coast - 6,317 Manly - 5,974 Melbourne - 7,088 Newcastle - 7,053 Cowboys - 6,895 Parramatta - 6,776 Penrith - 5,503 South Sydney - 11,777 St George - 13,321 Sydney Roosters - 6,170 Warriors - 7,770 West Tigers - 5,148
these figures are SEASON TICKETS ONLY ie excluding non ticketed memberships
well done dogs for breaking 10k for the first time
What is this club membership thing? Is it actually a season ticket? Will 19k souths fans have a ticket for every home game.... someone explain?
Has this worked and should it be taken up in super league?
no there are 2 types of memberships :
1. ticketed ie your normal season pass as you know them in england 2. non ticketed - you get like a key ring, letter from players, discount on club gear but not passes for games, and obviously much cheaper
eg souths have 11,000 ticketed and the rest are non ticketed
