To be fair after watching the Leeds game on TV again v Wigan I’ve still got an appreciation for Manly Sea Eagles. Can’t say the same for the rest of the NRL yet but we’ll see.



However I won’t be going all NRL like AP did. He really did let Australia get to his head and has resorted to new lows since by offering us all a wonderful blog of his to read of more a less the same stuff he used to post on here before he got banned.



To round it all off Leeds are sleeping giants. I don’t think we’ve seen the best of this team yet unfortunately so far this season.

There's not that much difference, the slower ptb and fewer handling errors makes it look much more structured. The SLs already looking a bit more like it this year, which im glad about.

Well, one good coach, big question mark over the second. As to the NRL players, some are very good, big question mark over some others. We have had great success with some who did very poorly in the NRL and some top players didn't make any waves when they got to us.



"Loads" of NRL players? We have some - more than the fans are happy with to be fair. Thank god we don't play like an NRL side, or we wouldn't have the fan-base in France.

Sure, we have some top players from Oz, greenshields is one who rates the SL above the NRL snoozathon. I'm sure there are some great RU players out there who (Noble willing) would make good additions to the SL - doesn't mean that their current cop isn't a steaming pile of ...

So much grapling it's like WWF and the play-the-ball is far too slow, there's a lack of flair and entertainment to the NRL.

Well said that man, watch a SL game then a NRL game and then another SL game, the 2nd SL game will seem like watching Barrow versus Leigh if you know what I mean. (no disrespect to either and no mentions of it would be if the game involved HKR!).

How anyone can say the NRL is boring I don't know, I reeeeally don't know what they're watching.

I watched the Brisbane game followed by the Leeds game and it wasn't in the same galaxy. Eddie and Stevo creaming over one Leeds try where all they did was put it through the hands, not exactly genious half back play.

I also watched the Manly game followed by the Cas game but tbf the Manly game was spoilt by the weather and the Cas game was a cracking little game even if it weren't the highest standard i've ever seen.



For me it's the little bits of skill in the NRL needed to break a game open. They're far more rewarding to see than a 40-34 game or whatever.
