So SPOTY was a big and important thing - until Kev didn't win, and now it's worthy of scorn and derision; and fixed?

RL fans elevated themselves for a brief moment in coming together to support Sinfield's nomination - then quickly reverted to type when he came second. Ah well - it was good while it lasted.

If that's the context in which he said that, which is not the way it's been widely reported all over the world, then as always I'm happy to be corrected. It's still a very stupid and ridiculous thing to say unless you agree that abortions under any circumstance, homosexuals and pedophiles are the same.

Even if we excuse his ridiculous, insulting and outlandish rant about the above three subjects that still leaves his silly misogynistic quote about women.

I don't agree with a word of what he said, and I agree that its a shame that people still hold those views. I am also however strongly against censorship. So if that is how he feels then that's up to him, and I would have been disappointed if the heavyweight champ was banned from a sporting competition of sporting achievement purely because he said some things that people don't like. He hasn't commited a crime, he's just made some silly comments.
