Doubt everything, even this

It's traditional for Quins to give the relegated/ bottom team their first points of the year.

Aye... I wonder if Bradford will be so generous next week?
Fortunately, I'll be in for'n parts and unlikely to witness the carnage first hand.

Indeed - Halifax 2003. Then we threw those points away for cheating :D

We couldn't get over the line if you lot stayed off the pitch if we're being perfectly honest.

You don't need to worry about us, you'll thrash us next week. If not, then you're in serious trouble. We're dreadful - we have one of, if not the best pack in the league but nothing in the backs which has shown in the last couple of weeks.

Oh, and a coach who still hasn't fixed 'basic' issues that were hampering our play 3 years ago.

Yes, the cultural resentment of the ne'er do well elements in the Wigan fan base have shown their crude faces here once again.

Nevertheless the dynamic French refereee Thierry Alibert had an excellent game.

Wigan won by scoring five tries to four.

I think that the scoreline told the narrow difference between the two clubs on the day. It thereby confirmed my original headline that Wigan + Noble were under pressure from Ian Lenagan's London club
.

Alibert is my top ref at the moment, I think he does a great job. Love the way he's clearly learnt off Ashley Klein how to say "MMoooovvveeee! HHoooolllddd!!".

First, his name is ALIBERT, not Albert!

Second, he is dynamic because he makes his decisions without hesitation, even if he decides to go to the video referee. There is no "umming" and "ahh-ring" before deciding, such as we see too often from other referees.

Third, he is mostly right in his final decisions, far more so than the insufferable man from St Helens.

Furthermore Thierry Alibert is a Frenchman in a primarily English environment. He has adapted splendidly, without any need to try to separate himself from the others. Perhaps that is because he has made the effort to speak English fluently. He has risen rapidly through the ranks, and is positioning himself to become eventually recognised as the world's number one refereee.

That is what I call dynamic.

Thierry Alibert is a man we can all admire!

I was referring to you dopey.

Here, read this while you're at it.

It was embarassing to think that people would think this is what your average Northerner sounds like and thinks like. Good to see Sam Tomkins has got a brain, and redressed the balance.

Young winger = gym monkey who knows where to be when the ball comes his way and little else
Young half-back = stick insect who knows how to find a gap, and sounds like he actually went to school.

Both good prospects for Huddersfield over the next few years.
