No. Most of those playing in the England team in 2013 will be between 22 and 27, which is why the people named are relevant.
I am not sure why predicting the future England team is more ridiculous than the usual repetitively dull banter about the bad referees. I would think it less so.

I don't need people to know how smart I am. I know and smart people also know already. What I have to do is to wake readers up to start thinking about the future, which is where I intend to visit in person -- unlike the obese pie and fish and and chips eaters, the alcoholics, and the drug addicts, who will all miss out.
As for repetition, I don't recall this post ever appearing here before. Repetitive is what the silly referee threads are.

I think it's pretty ridiculous to predict an England team 4.5 years into the future. A lot can happen in 4.5 years. A lot of players can turn up in 4.5 years. A lot can leave in 4.5 years. It's all total guess work. Could you have even closely predicted the 2008 WC squad in 2004?

How many people know how smart you are then? This should be interesting...

So you are the prophet then? You have to wake everyone up? How do you wake these people up AND exclude people at the same time? Because you've just menioned who are going to miss out. Or are these the people you need to wake up? Because I'm sure insulting them will go a long way to doing that!
Not only do I doubt your ability to think about the future from a non-biased angle, I also doubt your ability to get your message across to people! It seems social interaction is not your strong point!

No, but I do recall many other posts you've made about many of the players in this thread as individuals. It's dunny how all the London-trained players are in there.

I wrote in my original post the following:
Below is a tentative squad for the 2013 World Cup. It contains some of the most exciting three quarters and halves that England has produced in two decades. The final squad of 23 will be announced sometime in 2013.
So if you had read my original post carefully, you would realise that I was not predicting the future squad with precision, only predicting the likely squad based on current form and age.
Of course another great player like Roby, Briscoe, McNally or McCarthy-Scarsbrook could appear out of nowehere in the interim. If that happens two years from now then I will add him to the squad which I formulate at that time.
I wondered in my original headline whether this squad was good enough to win the World Cup.
No one has speculated an answer to that question yet.

he's no better than wellens...slow & safe....no thanks,those types of players don't work at international level...sorry
You must be confusing the very speedy and agile Tom Briscoe with the former Hull FC now Hull KR full back Shaun Briscoe. Tom would leave Shaun and Wellens from Sintellins in his wake after ten yards.
Go to the Hull FC website and take a look at the videos of the lad.
Halley is welsh! Gibson isn't good enough for Leeds when Smith is out never mind England! Scott Moore will be in the side by then! No Sam Tomkins or McGuire who will only be 30! No Ashurst for Ablett McShane should be in there as well No Watkins?? McNally is in there who isn't proven at SL level yet... Joel Tomkins will be good enough. Yeaman should be in there. Ellis will still be good enough.
I'd go:
1. Lee Smith 2. Tom Briscoe 3. Kirk Yeaman 4. Michael Shenton 5. Shaun Ainscough 6. Danny McGuire 7. Kyle Eastmond 8. Sam Burgess 9. Scott Moore 10. James Graham 11. Jon Wilkin 12. Gareth Ellis 13. Joe Westerman
14. James Roby 15. Gareth Hock 16. LMS 17. Luke Burgess
18. Sam Tomkins 19. Richie Myler 20. Paul Prescott 21. Paul Clough 22. Joel Tomkins 23. Ben Jones Bishop
