Bilko,,Was that Wigan*s first ever game at the JJB,i ask because i always thought it strange that Wigan should have finished the season at Central Park,And started fresh at JJB the following season.
I suppose Saints beating Bradford in 1999 Grand Final was a bit of a shock, as Bradford beat Saints earlier in the play-offs 40-4, and everyone was saying Saints had no chance. Obviously us Saints fans knew we had a team capable of winning the game, but pretty much everyone else thought we had no chance, therefore the odds were stacked against us. Saints won the final 8-6.
