After dispatching of Warrington with relative ease at their wolfs lair, St Helens back it up with a comprehensive victory against super league favourites Les Catalans who boasted a young winger in their side who is surely going to be a future man of steel. Adam Swift did well under the conditions. Boosted by the coach of the year Keiron Cunningham it's hard to see past them and although Wigan fans will claim they are the team to beat, I'm afraid it's St Helens who claim right to the title. I just feel sorry for the 99% of the entertainers forum who declared 2 months ago they were never watching St Helens again as they will have missed some really good rugby football

At the risk of biting........................

Dispatching Warrington (a team who had 4 days rest after their last game against Saints 13 day rest) with relative ease (by 2 points and nearly lost the game in the dying minutes through a try that, had the game not been on sky, would have been given)??

Seriously?

You can call our fans for moaning but it's obvious to anyone that the displeasure shown did have an effect on turning round our poor performances.

Could you run it by me how St's moaning fans saved the day?

Every club has the right to have a go, prior to this season there must have been a thread a week on the Hull F.C. board screaming for Radford to be binned off. Even many Leeds fans are calling for McDermott's head this year.

But ultimately nothing has changed, all three coaches are still in situ.

REALITY CHECK!!!!
Saints will be lucky to get to the semi finals and have to take that as their glory for the season.
No way in their set up, playing method etc are they Champion material.
Next season however....

They will be lucky to get the semi finals.

Okay :?

You urm, do realise finishing in the top 4 puts you into the semi finals, and saints pretty much have that sewn up after beating catalans. I very much doubt luck will be any factor in the outcome whatsoever.

Quite what you think is going to be radically different next season to turn from (apparently) not being champion material this season, to being champion material next season is anyone's guess. Frankly I'm not sure anyone really wants to know either, just more inane nonsensical ramblings from someone who appears to have lost touch with reality.

Hmm
You obviously have knowledge that others don't.
If Saints don't win another game then will they make the top four?
Don't know if you're a Saints follower but if you are, were you one of those baying for Cunninghams blood at the beginning of the season?
Saints are starting to click but it hasn't all fitted yet. That's why I am a realist. Perhaps my years of following the game and how teams develop is far inferior, who knows but I see a good team coming together and a better team when everyone is up to speed. It isn't this year.
Sadly I can't look at things though home and away different coloured glasses and be totally biased. I just call it as I see it. If you have a problem with that, then tough, it's your problem, deal with it however you choose

We can be bold enough to make a stand and do battle for our views and beliefs. But we must strive to be mature enough not to resort to unnecessary personal attacks upon people with opposing views.

They are trying.

Not only are we having to deal with ex-wiganers hyping it up on the commentary, looks like we have them on the panel deciding our fate too.

Can someone tell me how this is a grade C shoulder charge?

A still picture won't but watching it numerous times shows it was. He led with his shoulder to begin

As the still shows, regardless of what he led with, he wrapped the arm, meaning by definition, it couldn't be a shoulder charge. Virtually every tackle "leads with the shoulder" it's how your taught to tackle!

I strongly suspect both will be downgraded to B grade and they both "only" get 1 game
