Agreed. Cas would be better supporting NM and groundsharing if it is successful until (if) GH is built.
WTW would be better, if NM fails, to groundshare with Cas until a (another) suitable alternative is found.
The phone conversation should go:
RW: "Look, we'll support you fully with NM, on the basis that if you are successful we can groundshare for a couple of years until GH is built"
AG: "Thanks. If NM does collapse, we would like to groundshare at GH when (if) it is built, until we can find another alternative."
