You have to admire the way 2 ockers have stretched a half-formed thought into 16 pages of, ahem, "debate".
What's laughable is you cited examples of football and Rugby Union games being played in this country not involving an England side. As much as it pains you to hear this, both those sports have huge followings in the south of England.
On the other hand, if that game of Union had been played in, say for example, Manchester, Leeds or Hull, they wouldn't have got a great deal of interest.
You see what i'm saying here? I'll spell it out a bit clearer:-
THE 2 RUGBY CODES IN THIS COUNTRY ARE VERY MUCH REGIONALISED, THEREFORE A GAME OF RL IN LONDON BETWEEN 2 AUSTRALIAN SIDES WOULD NOT GENERATE THE DESIRED LEVEL OF INTEREST!!!!
