Where is this official figure of 8,500 from the Catalans club itself? I agree that 6,300 is also equally unsatisfactory but every report I've seen from numerous sources is still quoting that particular attendance.

I'm not about to credit Catalans with 8,500 when the exact same attendance figure was also doing the rounds for the Bradford V London fixture the same weekend and we all know that was a load of bull.

Not a fan of this due to variables in the fixture list between the first 4 games each season.

With the situation at London, Bradford and Wakey's stadium. i dont think the figures so far have been bad at all

You used to do equivalent fixture comparisons

e.g. Hudds v leeds 2014 = xxxx
hudds v leeds 2013 = xxxx

For example, within the first 4 rounds of 2011 it included millenium magic, which can skew the figures wghen comparing to normal weekly round games.

The figures I posted still compare the equivalent fixtures from last year, 2012, 2011, 2010 and 2009.

The only one's which differ are having to replace Widnes attendances with the equivalent Crusaders attendances from 2009 to 2011.
