It isn't just a nickname though - it's not like how we used to be called 'The Glassblowers' or how Widnes are called 'The Chemics' - Tigers has been our official name for over 20 years now, our unofficial name for about 50. And the fans are very happy with it. Fans are not opposed to our current moniker. It's not like how Wakefield fans have constantly detested 'Wildcats' being shoved onto them for SL.

I don't mind it, I've seen far worse. Not as nice as their home. I'm not sure the Dragon Scales work all over the shirt, as well as they do as just a section of it, like in their home shirt. As some of the comments suggest, it looks like a quilted RL top.

Need to be careful not to rewrite history too much. I remember the excitement of getting into the top flight and we all knew we had to have a silly name. I remember there was a poll on the name in the local paper, and Wildcats won it, which is why we ended up with it. We accepted it as the price to pay. Once you're in it and see other clubs dropping theirs, however, like the Blue Sox and Sharks. it then becomes something you can choose to have or have not. Once that was the option, it was always Trinity.

But we were quite happy to have it when we were promoted and it wasn't a choice.

Lovely Bradford shirt. I like the retro shirts with a collar - and the colours just scream out Bradford Northern

Always hated it to be honest and it was ridiculed from the off by opposition supporters.
