I find that quote hard to believe I'd expect it from Jeannie but not nobby

Noble's been talking nonsense since he went to TWP, it's in the contract to talk rubbish, they think it works. But if you have been around as long as me it is the modus operandi to talk your club up to the stars on the eve of the season, I can recall many a not very good club scraping promotion to the top division and basically saying we are in it to win it and not just survive. TWP's relatively poor recruitment for this season screams otherwise but fans don't pay as much attention to this detail than they do soundbites and headlines.
It's season ticket sales talk, once the punters have paid up front for the whole year, it doesn't matter how dismal your performances are...........The real news here is the massive losses they have racked up, which they are trying to excuse as "investment". I bet "Ottawa" & "New York" are looking at those figures and thinking eeeekkkkk!! Do they really want to spend that then get blocked when the new TV deal comes 2022. Behind the headlines the fine details tell us there will be no NY or Ottawa, not unless they have "Billionaires" with £Millions to flush down the pan.
