Not a dig at Huddersfield, but I recall playing them June time and they had 13+ players missing and some of their kids stood up well and deserve to be playing week in week out.

Neither of the Senior twins have completed their physical development yet. They will be very big strong athletes but have a fair bit of filling out to do. They will be there to fill in for injuries and both Uate and McGillvary probably have 2/3 years left in them which is the perfect time for these lads to take over fulltime. I would actually say bringing juniors through is the one area we have done very well at over the last 5 years where our other recruitment has been dire.

Not sure either team really need them, both past their best. Brough is more likely to cost you a game with a yellow card for dissent than to win you a game nowadays.

T-Mak has been listed for the golden boot. Tom Johnstone hasn’t. T-Mak also isn’t a speed bump like Tom Johnstone which is why the legendary Wayne Bennet picks T-Mak. But never mind, I’m sure you could rally the 3000 Wakefield fans to vote in an online poll for the speed bump

Tbh I'm not sure we need him but he played really well for Hudds during their wins this past season and has only seen one yellow & tbf to Brough he might not be at his best but even now he's still one of the best halves in the League. So we'll see how he goes. He's still got an excellent kicking game, something we've lacked at times especially in close games & where we've needed to see them out. ATEOTD if he doesn't play at the top of his game and be on his best behavior, it's not as if there aren't others that will take his place at the drop of the hat.
