Leeds booed off after losing to quins and Salford despite being current SL champions.
Bradford taking a mere 100 to Saints because they have lost a few games.
Hull taking 250 to Salford despite leading the table earlier in the season.Wire taking 200 to Bradford.
The likes of Salford/Wakey/Hudds are always lambasted for their so called poor levels of support, however the last few weeks have shown that so called fans of the 'big' clubs are quick to turn on their side or even disappear altogether at the first sign of any losing streak.
One of the worst grounds in the league. The other side of the country. Poor standard of opposition (not that Hull are a good standard, but Salford are 2nd to bottom for a reason). Worst form in the SL (Celtic apart). And on Sky. All major contributers.
Basically, we were playing a poor team with a poor team that has lost 6 on the bounce playing boring dull and uninspiring rugby in a crap setting at the other side of the country. Why would anyone want to take 6-7 hours out of their day to watch that when they could just watch it on tele?
It was a very poor turnout, no question (especially by Hull's standards), but totally understandable. I couldn't make the game anyway due to other commitments, but had I been able to I'm not sure if I'd have bothered for this one anyway. Managed to catch it on tele, and despite the win, it was still a crap game IMO.
