Listened to to the London Rugby League fans forum podcast and Gus Mackay stated that the club were in the hunt for 6-7 marquee players which will allow Quins to challenge next year.
Hopefully we can pull off some big name signings, would love to have Lockyer here, but we can always dream I suppose. Anyone know which players we're in discussion with?

They did this in the late 90s and it landed them nowhere. Im skeptical tbh
It didn't land them nowhere. They were getting good crowds and had a good sponsor willing to promote them. The future looked very bright in 1999, especially with that Wembley appearance.
But they were a team full of antipodeans with no real 'structure' to the club.
Well there's a 'strucure' there now - London players in the side (LMS- Ok I know he's at Saints now - Clubb, O'Callaghan,Krasniqi,Thomas, Williams, Sarginson has just broken into the team (quite a few Wigan fans sounded like they were impressed by him when they were down at the Stoop the other week) and a number of others like Bishay and Dixon coming through the U20s.
phipps knows best (everything about rugby league) so don't disagree!!!!
