Rhyl is not a bad ground but the pitch seems small for RL and is no where near super league standard. Farrar road is about to be knocked down and bangor are moving into a 2,000 cap ground. Again no good for Super League. of course you have to think of the future. Cefn druids are in a new ground but its a little out of the way and of course no where near super league standard.

TNS have a nice ground, closer to Wrexham than either of the above. As do Chester, of course - and their ground is at least partly in Wales.

SOMEBODY SAID that it couldn’t be done
But he with a chuckle replied
That “maybe it couldn’t,” but he would be one
Who wouldn’t say so till he’d tried.
So he buckled right in with the trace of a grin
On his face. If he worried he hid it.
He started to sing as he tackled the thing
That couldn’t be done, and he did it!

Why no promotion clause? You dont think the RFL will be pushing this again in 3 years time do you

Because that would be fair , if a club was to be recieving extra funding then for it to use that money to advance up the divisions at the expense of other clubs would be wrong , IMO

Basically the money would be to put a foot ON the ladder , not climb it to the top , as before

If the RFL were stupid enough to try this type of farce again , then I dont think they would still be in a job for long

Freedom for supporters of the government, only for members of one party - however numerous they may be - is no freedom at all. freedom is always and exclusively for one who thinks differently.

The New Saints as they're now know as have an artificial pitch.

Wrexham Fc's players have gone on strike as they've been told there is no chance of them getting paid this month as the money has run out. As they are owned by the same company I think its highly unlikely that the Crusaders will be around in its current guise next season.

As I have said this is all part of Moss and co master plan to close down both sporting teams ready to sell the ground and be quids in.

Tonights Wrexham fc game has been called off as the players havent been paid yet the owners have disappeared on holiday.

Which is why I said ignore them , and look to set up a club somewhere close but nothing to do with the previous one , and one with the aim of being a good Championship club with no crazy SL ambitions

Wrexham fail to pay players - http://news.bbc.co.uk/sport1/hi/football/14329582.stm

Questions seems to be, will they survive until the end of the season.

Ok but by who, what with and where. Wrexham is the major town in North Wales going anywhere else would be a mistake.

Would such guarantees be worth the paper they're written on though ?

Let me make it clear, my problem isn't with the club themselves it is with the RFL who have orchestrated this whole shoddy affair and now are looking to the clubs that they allowed Celtic to trample all over in the first place to be their saviours and salvage something out of it to save face.

Effectively they would be asking Championship clubs to allow Crusaders in to be 'on hold' for another stab at SL, because we all know that as soon as practically possible the RFL would be manouvring them in that direction again. Any Championship club with ambition of their own would be mad to agree to it unless they had cast iron guarantees and an option to sue if favouritism is shown at any time in the future.

How dare you blame the Gods at the RFL . As they keep telling us "Everything" we do is "transparant" and "above board" and for the good of the game of Rugby League. " The Truth Is Out There", But not as we know it Jim.
