Most of that seems pretty fair to me. I don't think anyone at Hull is feeling "hard done by" though. It was a tough game with two excellent defences on show. Warrington just about did enough. Only scoring one try doesn't necessarily mean you attacked poorly, just as scoring 40 doesn't always mean you attacked really well. I am optimistic that we can have a real good dig this year. But then again in 2009 we won our first 5 and then only won 5 more of the remaining 23. So I will wait and see how things develop.

The success (or lack of it) of both Hull clubs will probably determine who finishes in the bottom 4.

It's difficult to see muc beyond Wire, Saints, Leeds and Wigan for the top 4.
5 & 6 maybe up for grabs if someone can put a run together but Hudds (assuming that they improve), along with Catalan still seem most likely an then it's up to the rest o win some games.
Both Hull clubs are capable of a decent league position but, top 4 is a massive ask for either and mid table is probably more realistic and if they hit a barren spell both could be "enjoying" the dreaded middle 8

I thought Hull would probably finish 7th, and I would stick with that for now. We are capable of better, and if we sustain our efforts from the last couple of weeks for a whole season then we will do better than that. However sustaining it is the difficult part.

Imo,both Hull sides are held back by the coach of both not being good enough to get the maximum from their squads abilities.Same applies to Catalan and their top 4 potential, coach not good enough.Sorry Jean

I'm not going to comment on the other clubs, but to me there's no doubt Radford got the job too soon. I think he was always being groomed for head coach but probably not until 2016. After the debacle that was the Huddersield playoff game I think Pearson knee jerked and sacked Gentle (Pearson says this wasn't the reason but I don't believe him tbh, it might not have been the sole reason but it was the main one).

So Radford was thrown in at the deep end and made mistake after mistake last year. He did good things aswell, but more bad. Back end of last season I was all for him to go, but we finished the season well beating Saints and Leeds, nilling Hull KR and drawing with Cas, aswell as a good performance away at Huddersfield. He made the right noises right through pre season to suggest he had learned from his mistakes, and so far this season has been hugely encouraging.

I still have doubts about him, but he's very young for a coach and seems to be improving all the time. Pearson seems to think very highly of him indeed.

agree to some extent though there is a bit of evidence that radford is learning and improving after a shaky start to his senior coaching career. whether this comes to fruition we will find out over the course of the next 20 games or so

Early days for Radford, but from the 2 games I saw, we have certainly got teamspirit, but the attack is often lacking. No Hull fans are getting carried away with a decent start.

Meanwhile at HKR, the jury was out on Chester after he replaced Sandercock, mostly because he was part of the regime that had failed on the playing front and backroom problems too. It started off well with a decent win against Saints, but very little has happened since then. Though to be fair to him, it wasn't his squad.
New year, new team, and a renewed appetite for this season ensued, but shipping 84 points in two games against has dampened the fans spirits (mine included). The fans know its not going to happen over night regarding a new team that needs to gel, but previous problems stemming from the Sandercock era have festered and remained or even got slightly worse.
The fans are still backing him, but if our run of form continues in this vein for another 6-10 games, then I fear for his future. Possibly why Willie Poching was brought in, as a back up plan.
