I missed our great side in the 60s but know the potential of Wakefield Trinity which is more than most clubs have. There's only 3 big clubs in RL that's Wigan Leeds & Hull FC and a well run Wakefield in an up to date stadium will be amongst the group of 4 - 5 behind them

I wouldn't argue with that, as with any team that would be well run and in an up to date stadium.

Just don't go spouting childish bollcks about other clubs being 'scared' of Wakefield getting a new stadium and you won't be mistaken for a 13 year old. No one is scared of Wakefield, nor will they ever be, new stadium or not.

Let's not be daft I know Halifax quite well and it's not bigger than Wakey you'll be saying king cross is more affluent than Sandel next. Wakefield is a City and it's location on the M1 M62 cross roads means its an ever growing City. Get this along with Leeds Doncaster and sheffield we can even vote our own mayor in London style you don't get that in cleckhuddersfax

Halifax bigger than wakey???? I live in Halifax and they wish it was as big as wakey, same as Huddersfield that I work in most weeks, u must live on fantasy island

Wrong, according to the list of UK cities and towns size by population Wakey is hundredth on the list, Halifax is 87 and Huddersfield is ranked at 39.

Think you need to read that again. Google is not another word for research!
The list you read clearly states that they have not used the formal boundaries and are judging areas or settlements.

The offical census figures show that Huddersfield (146k) and Halifax (82k) added together are still well short of Wakefield population (323k).
