Actually, when you look through our (Leigh) announced squad so far, there are no 'wow-factor' (match winner) signings in there - with every respect to the lads who have been signed. That may change later this week, when I suspect Sammut, plus one or two other 'name' signings could be announced. I wouldn't put us as 'top two' material though. We've built one or two well fancied squads, on paper, in recent years, only to find they haven't gelled on the pitch.

At the moment, I would have Featherstone, Toulouse and York (everyone keeps omitting them again, and they have strengthened!) as top three, with London - again- somewhat unknown. With some of the 'less fancied' clubs having strengthened, and Toronto out of the way, it all points to a very competitive season in 2020.

The purchase of Turkish international and former Canberra half back Aiden Sezer should ensure that Huddersfield is not relegated at the end of 2020.

Agreed, in fact a large number of 'Toronto' players fall into that category. No single club players in that team, but plenty with a lot of notches on their gun belts.
