Sadly Batley are in 7th place, so look unlikely to compete in the middle 8’s, which is required to gain a Super League place.
Toulouse are in 3rd place and will be competing in the middle 8’s for a place in Super League.
Brilliant Batley have 2 games in hand on Terrible Toulouse. If they win them, they will only be 2pts behind them. There are lot's of more twist and turns to come yet old bean.
So, Sir Kevin Capdouze/Jean Sinfield ,ur talking out of ya A$$ again.
JESUS WEPT HOW MANY TIMES????? £20 a ticket and £15 on beer and merchandise.....so an away fan is worth £35. At best, 1,000 is the average away support split across 11 rounds and I am being really generous here, so Toronto, replacing say Wakefield will cost a SL club £35,000. The minimum turnover of a SL club is £4,000,000 so Toronto instead of Widnes is worth less than 1% of a SL clubs turnover.
There are many valid reasons for and against expansion into America, but "AWAY FANS" isn't one of them.
After 11 games last year Toulouse had 16 points, with 5 Home games and 6 away played. This year same number of points with 6 home played and 5 away......with no challenge Cup game they have a break then Swinton away before Fev, Toronto and London.....those 3 games will dictate the rest of their season IMO......
Maybe we should have 'asked' not to have to play in the challenge cup ! Yet more favouritism for an overseas club playing in the 'Planet Earth' RFL
Are Leigh fans still crying about overseas clubs? Deary me.
The irony is, if crap clubs like Leigh actually managed to get their houses in order, enabling them to grow, compete, add something to the game, then we wouldn't need to look at expansion clubs.
The other option is we sit around and wait a couple more decades for Leigh et al to finally get up to standard, whilst keeping the salary cap rock bottom to allow them to compete, watching media interest in our game evaporate into nothing, our best players continue to leave & the value of sponsorship diminish.

To write a post like that , you must be thick as $h!t. Oh, and a crap club like Leigh beat you on your patch. remember ?

You can't even use punctuation properly, mate.
The fact I got a response like this shows there's plenty of truth in what I said.

Yep, highly embarrassing.
The fact you're still holding onto a single league victory last season, despite relegation and a terrible start in the Championship since, shows the small-time mentality at your club.
Anyway, you lot keep whinging about Toulouse & Toronto whilst the sport moves forward without you.

YES IT WAS.
Well, we also beat Wigan twice last year,as well as Wire,Saints, Hudds & Salford (who we nilled), Catalans & yo men. No it wasn't enough. The reason i call you thick, is because you don't understand how difficult it is to build a club once you've gained promotion. ( And i am certainly not suggesting franchise for one minute). My belief as always been, give the promoted club a years grace to give them a chance to build, but that would be to easy for the inept rfl.
Not Whinging, but fed up of Jean Jeanie, and his constant drivel about expansion. FWIW - No team in the championship on current form would get into SL if the 8s started this w/end.

You are dead right that promerted clubs should get at least a year to buy good players and get used to supper league me I would make it 2yrs

My reply wasn't directed at you, or maybe it was?
You see, Jean's ramblings when his overseas clubs win a game, he demands them to be automatically slotted into Super League. I just thought with Batley walloping his "should be in SL" team, then maybe Batley deserve Toulouse's spot.
