You spent you previous posts lamenting how poor Cuthbertson and Parcell are now holding them up as comparable investment to us signing one marquee and going after another marquee signing. Also Moon and Aiton joined from other other SL clubs and do you think Peteru was a big signing?

Sinfield has seen fit to change the conditioner and I'm not saying we couldn't do better and the new guy isn't an improvement but just doing that whilst keeping his mates in their roles on the pitch and on the coaching staff is suspect if the whole culture was as bad as he claimed.

You said no money had been invested in the squad during McDermott's tenure - that is quite clearly not the case. You can't replace the likes of Sinfield, McGuire and Peacock - those players don't exist in the UK and would use the entire cap if you recruited that quality from the NRL - that is how lucky McDermott was in what he inherited. They brought Galloway and established NRL and they have brought in Myler about as good a half back and many would say an improvement on the ageing McGuire.

When do you think the lack of fitness is really going to tell - the back end of the season - it is no wonder performances dropped off against fitter more focused opposition.

Far be it from me to try and defend Leeds but, I dont agree with the lack of fitness angle.
Lack of fit players and lack of replacing quality with quality was Leeds issue last season.
When JJB is one of your starting props, you really aren't going to win too many games and the absolute lack of quality in the halves, playing behind a beaten pack (most weeks), just adds to the woes.

Despite Sinfield coming in and Furner for next season, Leeds have some major re building to do and it will be interesting to see just how long it takes for them to be pushing for a top 4 spot.

Disagree, whenever I have seen him play he has still been one of Leeds top performers, in there struggle seasons he always seemed to still put in consistent performances and quite obviously put in 100%. Will next year be a year too far? Who knows.

To me he seems like a hardworking, honest player - To suggest its 3 years too late is just disrespectful.

You s should stick to the Leeds board where you and the rest of them can just spend all your time convincing yourselves and drooling that Leeds are signing numerous NRL stars. That’s all that board has become, just one big board for people to promote rumours that usually end up being wrong.
