8 of the 17 Lancashire academy that absolutely mullered Yorkshire were from St Helens. Including the man of the match. This just shows that St Helens are set up for years to come. Every single club in SL are jealous of the St Helens rugby league club and wish they had the infrastructure in place. Warrington are trying to copy it but they have the worst CEO in rugby league history so will have no chance of replicating it. Mike Rush is the CEO of St Helens and is well respected in the NRL. He would also never spend marque money on one of the worst full backs in SL history like Warrington have

As much as I agree with you with Saints being the benchmark for other clubs at this point in time. To effectively discredit the work that Fitzpatrick and co have done at Wolves to turn them from a bang average club to a contender over the past 15 year is great work. To improve their ground before anyone else (other than Wigan). Is just plain bonkers.

And Dufty is hardly the worst fullback in the league. And was one of St George’s better players over recent times.

Do you remember the past few seasons? Fitzpatrick and his earring were more interested in social media Likes which failed spectacularly.

Dufty is terrible. His performance against St Helens was easily the worst full back performance in the history of SL. He was never one of St George’s better players. He was just as bad there. He’s a btec jai field

St Helens undertake massive due diligence on every signing. Want to know Warringtons due diligence? “You played in the nrl? Perfect! How much do you want? We will double it”

Last season was a bad one for Warrington. But even Leeds who have set the benchmark for years were in danger of relegation in 2016 the very year after they’d done the treble? Every side has bad seasons.

Saints and Wigan were the top clubs (along with Bradford) then Leeds came through mid 2000’s. Warrington between 2000 and 2004 only had 1 season with more wins. When Moran bought the club in 2003 he helped grow the club into contenders. Signing the best player in the world in Andrew Johns. 4 Challenge Cups, 2 League Leaders, 4 GF Appearances, 2 CC Runners Up. Tell me, other than Wigan, Saints and Leeds, who wouldn’t want that haul over the past 15 years?

I’d argue that Hooley’s was a worst performance when Abdul bombed him to death the other week was miles worse than anything Dufty has put up and that’s only from this season. Obviously he’s not as good as Jai Field. If we were to talk about individuals there’s a case that Field is better than Welsby (who is a good player too).

I do agree that Saints tend to get a lot more right than wrong in terms of recruitment. But there’s been a couple who in my opinion weren't as good as the others Joel Thompson, Joseph Paulo, Tommy Lee, Adam Walker, Travis Burns, Lama Tasi and I don’t think Josh Perry was that good but I’m sure Saints fans will have arguments about why these guys were good. But it is hard to put down many Saints signings in all fairness.

How much due diligence did St Helens put into signing the wrong Adamson brother?

When you've got to go back to 1999 for some content to criticise you know you're not onto a winner.

Nearly as funny as Wigan spouting off to the media about how they were going to Australia to sign mark gasnier and came back with David Vaealiki lmao

Lmao

Legal tackle from Hurrell, penalty to Catalans and a yellow card. Utterly embarassing
