You have to be worried about that attendance. First game of the season is always an inflated crowd, so it looks as though Salford are going to have around 3,000 'homies'. It's not enough.
If they can get the stadium and 7,000 dial-a-fans then fine, but there is no way they should be in Super League without it.
And Celtic are going to have massive problems too, I can't see them winning a single game this season. One wonders what that would do the attendances in Wales, they could end up smaller than Salfords.
Neither club should be in Super League in their current state, it makes a mockery of the whole thing. But having said that the likes of Wakefield, Huddersfield and Saints don't belong in a 'Super' league either, so we'll have to fumble blindly onwards.
