You think team + attendances = club?
Well ok then lets go a littlw bit further into it, success in the past few years has been Leeds's. When was the last time Wigan won the cup ? Oh thats right...1998. So in the last 10 years Leeds have won it 3 times (08,07,04) Wigan have won it once (98 ). Still not content with that ? lets dig a little bit further.
Leeds's club has been developing in those last 10 years, they now have very good attendences, a very good team on a very good financial footing, have a lot of success. In stark contrast Wigan, who dominated super league for a long period of time have been getting worse imo although very slowly. Still not convinced ? then please tell me something that makes Wigan a bigger club than Leeds ? The past, hats all they have. I'm a Leeds United fan and we live in the past too, sometimes it's time to let go and not expect to hammer teams week in and week out. I was watching SSN the other day and a Wigan fan was disgusted that Wigan had lost to Cas at the JJB..he is a a prime example of living in the past, Cas imo have a strong squad this year; fast backs, powerful forwards and a team that imo can get in the top 8.
