You've stolen my washing
From out my back garden
You've tarmacked my driveway
Even though I said no
You've nicked my lead flashing
And weighed it in at the scrappy
Oh St Helen's tatters
Come rob me again

Chill out bro, my comment was meant as a joke. You know as well as me, that within the City, tigers fans have been blamed for Good Friday ever since the day it happened (even though there isn't a shred of evidence to support the theory).
I remember when we had the little incident at McAlpine, and someone phoned in to Blunderside to accuse City fans of being the culprits. The presenter then asked (tongue in cheek) if it was the same City fans who started the Good Friday riot many years before.
The laughable part about it, is the fact that in 1981, City had barely enough fans to start a scuffle, nevermind a full blown riot.

Joke accepted, it's just that an awful lot of rugby fans are quick to point the finger at football fans, the trouble at Warrington the other year being a prime example.

Regarding Good Friday, if you ever read 'City Psychos' you discover the same lads who fought together under the City name regularly faced up to each other at rugby.

Parry Gordon's passes,Les Boyd's strong runs,Mike Gregory's workrate,Des Drummond's tries,Jonathan Davies' sheer genius...........oh,and Alan Rathbone's punches! All memories of the legendary venue which was Wilderspool stadium. Gone maybe, but never, ever forgotten.

Warrington 15,Australia 12.

Personally I have never seen the point of fighting with opposition fans at a rugby game. It won't change what happens on the pitch or the score on the scoreboard to why bother?

Organised hooliganism has nothing to do with whatever sport they attach themselves to, it's just an excuse for people who want to have a ruck to get together and do it.

I witnessed an 80 - 100 person riot outside the Halliwell Jones when Wigan played this season. Shocking scenes.

My uncle told me a story about a fight at Thrum Hall once starting after a Hull fan grabbed a toy Fax bear from the hands of one of our (very) young fans and ripped its head off

Alive n kicking

look if you have a few thousand people some loved up on cola n lemonade then by the laws of average you will at times get fisticuffs . Ive seen a few times trouble at belle vue post and pre SL era . Wire , Hull FC , Hull KR , Fev , Fax , Salford , Huddersfield and wigan spring to mind .

Wire wakey fan shoved behind the cop knocking kid to floor lead top wakey and wire fans giving him a good hiding.

Hull FC started on wakey fans leaving boulevarde for no reason

KR perm any one of 5 one that sticks in mind is throwing the large metal bins on the field after we qualified for the 1st div GF , a few arrested . To add to this about 3 years ago some idiot KR fan thought it would be good to attack the oasis club not realising it was full of body builders high on adrenaline.

Fev mainly fight amongst themselves (talk about keep it in the family  ) remember once horse backed coppers and the plod storming the kop end with a fev fan who encroached the field and ran about 85 meters before being taken down by a good tackle and a very embarrassed PC as he got a standing ovation.

Fax not sure what kicked it of but it was when we played overden in the cup.

salford , knobbers from monty's bar (Leeds UTD) attacking salford fans leaving match ...although nothing to do with WTW.

Huddersfield read above for salford , huddersfield fan took a pasting i tried to stop my car as i was leaving telling the poor lad toi just go home and not to retaliate . the pub was full of these morons.

wigan a few years ago whilst a wigan fan was leaving a wakey chav gobbed him the wigan fan started to attack him so the wakey fan shoved my little lad who was 5 at the time to the ground injuring his legh ...first time ever ive come close to smacking someone myself at a game thankfully i got held back but it just goes to show how easy these things can go bang.

although ive mentioned the above in 25 years plus i dont think that's a bad return , when i go up town on a friday night i see violence every time.

They were involved with the incident a few years back that has led to me now not going to Hull. It was the Warrington game (the Andrew Johns) one and they all left early to create some pretty ugly scenes as the game finished. As usual just a minority.

That was the only time in 30 years of watching that I have been involved in anything like proper 'violence' at a game. Normally doesn't get much past the 'scuffling' stage.

RL has a great record. Just ignore that book, it is a load of b*****ks.
You are disillusioned. That book only recounts a small percentage of the violence at matches spanning back from the 70`s till now. Believe me, there were many, many nasty scenes. On a par with what was witnessed at football. I don`t condone violence (I`m a lover not a fighter  ) but you can`t dismiss the facts or history.

Remember both incidents, the headingley trouble im certain was started by Hull City hooligans.

It looked like it was organised.
