No I haven't watched all of FC's games, all I was commenting on was todays effort and the small selection of other games I have seen this season. Any reason for the inquest and defensiveness?

Simply because you try and make yourself to be some kibd of expert with sweeping statements about how we have looked better this year. This implies you have seen us regularly which i find hard to believe. i would guess you saw the Broncos game when we were domiant but poor and highlights on Sky / BBC which can be edited to highlight good or bad points.
what we saw today was a derby not just another league game. There is more than just 2points. at steak and form goes out of the window. Hull ground Rovers down and then broke out to win easy. You will not find many tries better than Yeamans this season. You also saw a Hull side flying under the radar who are improving each week and are coached to a high stabdard. epitomised by the man of the match today and former Quin Sharp who are unrecogniseable from last season.

I dont expect much from this season but as we saw in 06 if we get basics right the rest will follow. inc free flowing attack. We are far from finished but far from a poor attacking side. .

I love it, you have an opinion that neither Hull FC or Hull KR are doing that well with ball in hand, as was evidenced during a woeful first half, you then comment that Hull FC have actually been decent on other occasions this year, and you still get some irate muppet "finding you out" with a long detailed post full of waffle

Neither team would have scored in a brothel in that first half. Usually in tight games like that it's a case of waiting to see whose defence cracks first - today, though, I was simply waiting to see which team could make the passes stick. As it turns out, it was FC in the second half who got it together.

Some great defence on show but little else.

On another note, sky yet again failing superleague fans with sound problems on there HD channel, this must be the 4th or 5th game this season where this problem as occured, i've never noticed it with any other sport.

You echo my thoughts exactly mate.I had the same problem today,,Think is was the Saints/Wire game last week when this glich came up and in the end i ended up watching the remaining 30-35 minutes on Standard Definition which by the way,the sound was fine....

Out of interest, how big is the difference between standard and high definition for watching sports matches? I only have standard sky (sky+, not skyHD) but I've never had any issues with the quality of the sports matches on it.

Personally i think its great,,the only prob is its a extra tenner a month but if you watch something on 401 hd and then swich to 408 sd,,,the difference in quality is striking...
