East stand lower? i think they put seats on top of the old terrcing and the rows are way too close together.

Do they still have that yellow corner for away fans? That;s awful too.

Snowie means the Geldard Rd end, terrible seating we were at the same game when the Aussies pumped it up us, we watched the second half in the bar, the rugby was just as embarrassing but at least me knees weren't sore.

Tickets are on general sale and yet you still cannot specify where you want to sit, I am amazed that when being asked to spend such a decent whack you could end up sitting somewhere you would not want to, I bought tickets for the last three world cups the day they went on sale, but for now at least I have decided not to bother. What a shame they decided to sell tickets in such a strange way.

It seems tickets will go off sale for 3 weeks in June while they allocate seats and I assume from July you can pick seats. I too would like to know where I am sitting before I book, hate being sat on a low row for RL

I think they planned to sell seats this way before Covid, which makes some sense from a 'make the ground look full' point of view, as they can allocate them in places they want for the cameras...but now Covid has come along they may need to spread fans about which is why they have carried on this way I reckon.

No. They stick away fans above the tunnel now with a restricted view and charge about 40 quid.

Well, they used to. Think it will be £20 now they're in the PL.

Sat in that old away end once in a friendly. Worse outdoor 'facilities' than Huddersfield.

Elland Road isn't a happy hunting ground for England/Gt Britain. Think we've only ever won one test there back in 1989.

Depends what you call good when the Aussies ripped us a new one at elland road we had some disgusting seats that was way too closed to the row in front of us and was digging into my knees, so uncomfortable we said we'd never return to that stand

I was at that game and in that stand. I'm only 5' 1" tall and even I struggled with the seat in front and had to sit on an angle. My best, and much taller friend went down to the concourse at half time and never came back up she was in so much pain.

On the Elland Road front we can only hope that Leeds staying in the Premier League leads to redevelopment as it is an ideal spot for big England games. The North is missing a good ground in the 30-50k bracket, England games either end up too small at Hull, Wigan and Huddersfield or would look a bit empty at the Etihad, Anfield, StJames' etc

Its old, not been renovated since Euro96 and I believe was at a reduced capacity before lockdown as not up to standard. Sheffield is resistant to RL's charms too, the Eagles moving ground every year doesn't help matters.

England to play Fiji at Rochdale as a warm-up.

Was about to have a rant about this but will cut them some slack as remembered Rochdale has a large Fijian population and sold out their 2013 WC game and it's also to celebrate Rochdale Hornets 150th anniversary.
