I believe Saints own their own ( I may be wrong)

We, that is Salford, are the main tennant in a joint co owned stadium which is owned by Salford city Council and Peel Holdings.

The Wakefield District Stadium Community Trust will run & operate Newmarket (it is leased to them on a peppercorn rent for 99 years by Yorkcourt) and Wakefield Trinity Wildcats will be an anchor tenant. It is a very similar arrangement (I understand) to the deal Peel have with Salford Council, except that Salford Council will long lease the ground from Peel and not an independent community trust company like Wakefield.

Castleford hope to own and operate their own ground at GH.

The stadium was originally called the "City of Salford Stadium". They changed it to Salford City Stadium, most likely because it rolls off the tongue better.

Well there you go. I was convinced they'd left 'community' in and dropped 'city'. All that talk of blue seats must've thrown me!

Can't wait to visit the Salford and Saints stadiums, both look fantastic. I hope for Salford in particular it provides the club with a boost, SL needs as many clubs frequently competing in the playoffs as possible.

Saints is wholly owned by Saints.

The Land is owned by Langtree.
