With the skim the SMC takes off it's no surprise austerity has hit the faithful. Lots of moaning about the SMC taking huge slice of match day takings etc but look deeper into it and it was Pearson who devised the deal whilst Football GM. Quite ironic really

it was shane richardson who devised the deal fwiw!

Richardson and McRae were in charge when they burgled Gateshead Thunder but the deal regarding SMC was Pearson doing.Hence the Allams taking all FC memorabilia down and charging you for it using his own rules. Things may get better if Allams leave this week as rumoured

no it wasnt Pearson, richardson was our CE at the time and gave a figure of around 6500-7000 which fc kept, anything over the smc took the rest or a percentage of. Of course Pearson would agree to that deal at the time, richardson admitted later it was shortsightedness on his part

It's hard to say which imports will thrive over here but Merrin looks a class apart. We had Joel Clinton who was on a big wage but contributed nothing then we had the likes of Vella and Weyman who were pure class. Think Minichello arrived at Hull with fans not overly impressed but he's been very good for them. Hurrell and Merrin will go well at Leeds.Not sure there is much else other than Watkins that look anything like top 4 players?

no i havent, you said pearson set our smc deal, when it was richardson, just because he agreed with the arrangement at the time with no association to fc then doesnt mean he was responsible

I said whilst he was football GM ie soccer. He brokered the deal in favour of the Tigers.re read it and an apology will be accepted (You already accepted Richardson made a crap deal) .The fact is Pearson had his own pants down but then there was no way of knowing he would then get sacked and eventually end up owning the Sharks.Hence he screwed himself financially.
