Sione Faumuina & Henry Fa'afili both did that to Quins. Faumuina got homesick after arriving for pre-season training and Fart'freely defected to the Dark Side.

I once interviewed John 'Boy' Walton the darts player for the Bulls programme, and when he had to select his favourite ever Bradford player he wouldn't have it that Martin Offiah had never played for them. That's the direct opposite of this, I guess.

iirc just after the warriors were taken over in 2000 when they were having money troubles and weren't paying the NZ players, they went out and dropped sacks of cash on a load of aussie players to convince them to sign up, campion was one and i think justin morgan was another one.
