For me, one of the as-yet unanswered questions is Anderson's coaching. I'd be surprised if, in his first full season, he did more than scarape into the play-offs.

By doing well

The quality of players are there to push for top spot, without the ridiculous tinkering of Brown and the whole mess of last season (Both Browns leaving, Moore recruited, no props etc) there is no reason to think that the trademark post Easter slump will happen.

Saints on the other hand, may want to worry...

Yes, but i don't see McManus being as patient with Mr. Brown as Ken Davey was. At the first sign of problems it'd be bye-bye time!

was it not a 4 year deal at £200k. That is a lot of money to pay off a contract. NB would not go if you were bottom of the league and lost by 60 points to Gateshead in the CC.

AFAIK They were looking for investment before "finalizing their squad". This is what was said a few weeks back.
