More a segue than a replacement

Carney and Wells are great n tv, but they are not replacements for Stevo. Carney should be the replacement for Eddie's tv work and be the face of RL on Sky (a la Linekar on BBC football), with commentary by Eddie and then the other up and comers. Not an ex player for commentary.

I like McDermott as long as he drops O'Connor.
Outside the team Wilkin is great and would be a good addition if BBC let him go.
I like the idea of having coaches as well. Cullen or Kear did a good job but there are plenty of eloquent people in rugby league who with some training will make good summariser. hey should just look at the se old same old.

None of those names are worthy. If any of those are appointed our game because even more boring than it already is and akin to the snooze fest commentary wise that is premiership football and rugby. There is only one man who should replace stevo, that Geordie who commentates on premiership games in America

John Helm and David Watkins, can't be any worse than what we have quite frankly. At least Watkins would have more understanding of the game than the Eddie Waring of the 90s/00s
