Some might look at this as being harsh but I think it's fair. When are the Rugby League going to stop persisting with this fantasy expansion. If it hasn't worked by now, it never will! I'm all for reaching out to a wider audience with our game but not at the expense of historical clubs in the homelands.

Then you literally have a forum of Jean Capdouze and Gutterfax and their various alter-egos talking to each other.

Also when I was a mod here there was a shoot on sight policy for previously banned users rejoining, not sure what happened to that.

OUT - Catalans

IN - one of the usual suspects in Leeds, Saints or Wigan to be GF winners......despite us hearing they were done for 8/10 months ago.

Just wait till Anthony Gigot rejoins Catalans. He will not only split defences and score tries himself. He will lift the performance of the rest of the team. Catalans will become very powerful when at home, and better than previously when away.

True, he could be the difference between them finishing 10th instead of 12th.

Catalans did not play badly against top 4 team St. Helens. Salford, Widnes, Hull KR, and probably Warrington would have done worse, and Wakefield and Hull FC would not have done much better.

Catalans needs time to gel its new signings and thus has a lot of improvement to come. In addition, if Anthony Gigot can resurrect his pre-ban form, Catalans will be in the top 8 easily.

Storming St. Helens were also down to 12 men for the last 30 mins, and Capitulating Catalans still couldn't win.
