McDermott is going. I actually think he is more relaxed because of it, and seems to have let the shackles go. He apparently asked to finish the season, and that is what they agreed.
According to the figures reported in the link above... "Sunday’s match against Catalan Dragons was the club’s last on home soil in 2014 and took the total number of supporters passing through the turnstiles through the 106,000 barrier'. Increasing last year’s average crowd from 7,319 to 7,572 – a season on season increase of around four per cent – it is testament to the passion of Robins fans during an inconsistent year for the team".
Those figures are all utter bollox.
Just like your posts... but do feel free to provide evidence of Hull KR lying to their fans and the RL public in general. Swearing and calling them liars doesn't really prove much does it.

Hull KR report a 4% rise in their attendances this season. Or a rise of 17% instead depending on which way they spin it

Of those teams who have competed all of those 6 years, the team with the smallest margin between their best year and worst year is......Leeds.
The team seemingly responsible for showing everyone the regular season doesn't matter and whose fans should be the ones most expected to just turn up at playoff time.

Good
So what do Hull KR have to say about those attendances above as published on their very own website?
"Sunday’s match against Catalan Dragons was the club’s last on home soil in 2014"
Correct so far... well done Hull KR.
"and took the total number of supporters passing through the turnstiles through the 106,000 barrier"
Regular season figure was 102,022 as confirmed by their very own official website. Oh, I see... they want to include the attendance of 4,911 against Warrington in the Challenge Cup? Ok... that takes the total attendance to 106,933 so yes... the number of supporters (if you decide to include the CC fixture) has passed through the 106,000 barrier.
But how many passed through the turnstiles last year? Hmmmm.....
"Increasing last year’s average crowd from 7,319 to 7,572"
102,022 + 4,911 = 106,933 Divide 106,933 by 14 = 7,638 average Can't even work out an accurate average from the figures published on their own website.
What about last season? If they included CC fixtures last year, didn't the total number of supporters passing through the turnstiles in 2013 also pass through the 106,000 barrier? Let's take a look shall we?
2013 Regular Season attendance at Hull KR = 97,430 2013 Challenge Cup attendances at Hull KR = 8,734 Total number of supporters passing through turnstiles at Hull KR in 2013 = 106,164

The Wigan away attendance there will have been massively affected by Sky, last year they went to Huddersfield on a Saturday, this year was a Thursday. Thursday games are shocking for away attendances.
away figures at huddersfield this season ( last year's in brackets)
salford 250 (70) up by 180
Out of interest, how can they acutally work that figure out when both sets of fans were in the same stand and most of the Salford fans I went with paid on the gate?
Edit - and indeed, the year before most I know bought through Hudds to get a £10 ticket offer.

exactly! that is the difference, had it been on a sunday those missing 900+ wouldn't have been missing. we have had some shocking turnouts on thursdays this year.
as for the salford figures, those are estimated based on ticket sales and walk ups. this year salford sold just over 200 pre sold tickets and the club estimate that another 50 paid on the gate and how many seats they took up ( most of you were sat together in the one area), as for last year, then that is an estimation too, 48 pre sold tickets plus extra's on the day/groupon vouchers. obviously they aren't exact figures, just as with london and catalan, it's just guesswork
by my reckoning there was probably a good 20 or so catalan fans and i saw only 5/6 london fans.
