Well before we get down about attendances. Leeds and Saints both up on their opening fixtures of last year and corresponding fixtures with the same opposition. So not all doom and gloom.

It's maybe enough to counter the London attendance, but not London and Wakey's ground restrictions.

Looking at those figures, I'm a tiny bit disappointed with the saints attendance - I was hoping the Steve Prescott events might of been able to push us to challenge for a fixture record, but we were still no where near first season at langtree figures. That said it's still a good rise on the previous years!

So we've gone from comparing previous season's attendances to now comparing 6 years' worth.

Talk about constantly moving goal posts to suit agendas. You couldn't make this crap up

Leeds/Wire 7% increase on last season.
Saints/Hull 20% increase on last season.

In fairness, he hasnt passed comment on them, just provided the information, we will now be entering a new ' era ' with very different ctriteria, so comparisons wont be as relevant until another 3-4 seasons have passed, effectively this season is a ' 1 off ' transition
