Yet again Bradford's decline is shown. Back in the day when they were a good team, they had the likes of Deacon, Hape, Vaikona, Vainakolo, Pryce, etc ... Now they are signing championship players, Sibbit and Ainscough, adding to players like Platt and Worrincy. I reckon they could be contenders for the wooden spoon next season.
Deacon was roundly slated on these boards during his Bradford days. No pace, no skill, only in the side for his goal kicking etc etc
Vaikona, no one outside Hull had really heard of him before his move to Bradford.
Who on here had really heard of Hape before he signed for Bradford and linked up spectacularly with Vanikolo?
And as for Vainkolo? Slow, no good under the high ball. Anything else I've missed from the bagging that any player who signs for Bradford gets?
Bradford have a much better squad being assembled for 2011 than the thread-bare team they had for 2010. A team, it should be noted, that made it to the quarter finals of the cup and were in 4th place at the season half way point before a season ending injury to their key playmaker and long term lay-offs for there best players crippled the team.
