There are some numpties on this thread. Typical RLFans to be honest.

Wakefield are making ground improvements. People who have decided to look at this negatively need to get a life, or at least think before engaging their brain.

"WTF is that?!" - It's the start of a new roof being built. What was you expecting after a few days? The finished article?!

"What's the point?" - Wakey will be in there for at least 2 more seasons (including this) if the ground gets the go ahead. They obviously would like to improve their facilities for their fans for that time period, build their fan base and move into the new ground with some momentum. If they average 7-8k at Belle Vue, it gives them a better chance of hitting a 5-figure average in the new ground than if they're averaging 5-6k.
Also, there is every chance that the stadium project gets turned down and they have to start again. This could add another year. Again, they don't want to wait. They're covering their backs and making sure everyone is looked after for as long as possible. And good on them, it's very forward thinking.

I'll ask this question to those posting ridiculous negative comments. What do you think the club should be doing?

Why the hell are people moaning? wakefield are doing something positive and improving the ground they should be applauded for that.

Easty is conveniently forgetting that his own club promised a 14k capacity stadium by 2010, and all they've done since 2007 is add an extension to the East Stand.

I somewhat doubt that he would be on here criticising other clubs if Hull KR didn't recently secure funding (some via Hull City Council) for their new North Stand.

It's always depressing when fans of RL do each other down at this level; by all means sledge each other for on-field stuff, but when a club coming out of years of mismanagement is on the brink of delivering something pretty special, without any council handouts or sugar-daddy investors, it shouldn't be hard to find it within oneself to give credit where it's due and wish them well.

Then again, I don't suppose that RLfans.com is in any way representative of RL fans in general, the majority of whom seem to have retained a semblance of decency.

Our stats show over 27,000 different people visit RLFANS.COM each day, doubt there are many other places where you will a better array of RL opinion.

Then perhaps what they say on here and what they say when you meet them in person is radically different, as I've never spoken to a rival fan in real life who's been anything other than positive about what the new regime at WTW are trying to achieve.

Either way, by the Catalans game we'll have done what we said we would do, which is more than the previous regime managed in 10 years, for one reason or another.

Maybe many of the posters on here are just "keyboard warriors" who's only agenda is to try to put down other club's achievements. Good luck with the development.

2 points, point 1 there are only actually 7 users with multiple log in names and point 2 this is the VT and for years i have doubted most opinions on here
