The following Saturday the Lions launch the 2013 World Cup when they face Australia at Cardiff's Millennium Stadium. Seems a strange choice of opponents, surely France would provide a sterner test for the warm up match.

Italy should be playing in Italy. I don't see what the point in holding another match in England is when there are already 20+ World Cup matches that need promotion.

I imagine they will want to be in the country at least seven days before the competition starts.

40% of all available tickets for the tournament as a whole have been sold, according to THIS. So long as it's 40% of all available tickets sold, then I guess that's good news then.

Er, possibly because the team isn't Italian and has been cobbled together from NRL players who had an Italian ancestor sailing with the first fleet, just to make up the numbers?
