England played very well, especially in defence where they had the Ausies running out of ideas to break them down. The only time Australia got any success was when they played straight and very fast, tactically going into collisions with the aim of finding their elbows and knees and gaining quick play the balls. There were two phases in the game where they did this really well and they dragged penalties out of the stretched England defence. On both occasions they scored soft tries due to the fatigue and disjointed defencive line. Other than that the England team shut down the Australian attacks very effectively.

In attack England's better footwork and cleverer lines found holes through the middle of Australia's defence. In the end it was a comprehensive win and certainly doesn't flatter England.

What fantastic news! Congratulations to all involved. What a filip to the confidence of the young Super League players, youngsters generally coming into Rugby League not to mention the game as a whole in this country. Just need the senior team to win next year's Test Series v New Zealand.

Both centres, FB, entire Back row and 10 impressed me. 7 had a better game but we got hold of the Aus 6 which we didn't do on saturday
Ref leant the Aus way imo, with a small 10m most game especially when we were coming off our line. The Aus team seemed to believe they could bully our pack out of the game and at 16-14 they were well on top but a mistake and an interception broke the dominance

I was sickened that I could not go the game last night due to my health, but I did manage to get a commentary of the game. It sounded a good match and according to the commentators I was imagining England under constant pressure from the Aussies, their defence must have been tremendous.
For W Eve, unless the commentators were looking at the game cockeyed then the penalty count did sound to be certainly in Oz's favour, so there!

I never heard much mention of our scrum half, not once in the first half and on only two occasions in the second, can anyone enlighten me on how his game went this week? He may have had a very good defensive game........ don't know on that score as there was not much reference to individuals on that front only that England's defence was very good overall.

He is the back up for the currently injured first choice half, the Frenchman William Barthau, at London Broncos.

So much for London's chances of promotion back up into Super League in 2016.

Keyes did fine. His oppo for Australia didn't have any greater impact. Two try assists including a lovely crossfield kick in the first half for England's second try which was to Thurston standard.

This is top level rep rugby for this age group but it's also about development. Keyes is not from the RL heartlands and will have benefitted from the experience more than most. Let's hope he learns well and applies the knowledge to London's benefit next year.

Didn't really rate the Hull lads, Turgut and Abdul, in the first match but they both had good games last night. Abdul was man of the match for me.

I think England learned a lot from the first match and altered the game plan to try to run round the Aussies rather than through them. In both matches we caused them problems on the edges.

The two Islanders playing prop gave us problems but soon ran out of steam. Think the Aussie fullback, Latrell Mitchell, could develop into Inglis mk II but he needs to cut out the stroppy behaviour.

Think you will always get that with these lads who've grown up playing in successful teams and knowing that they have talent. As soon as they don't get their own way and are losing they start getting all stroppy. Certainly what i've noticed anyway when i've played and watched.
