I must say I enjoy these stadium threads. I enjoyed seeing photos of Doncaster, Leigh, St Helens, Salford and the additions to Warrington as they were being posted, seeing the improvments as they materialise. The same for the works at Halifax, Wakefield and Catalans,and Batley.

I also liked seeing the plans for Trinity, Castleford, Featherstone,York , Dewsbury, Whitehaven and Swinton. I even appreciated photos and plans for Oldham s little acre. With such emphasis in stadia these days in licencing for SL, minimum standards for the Championship etc I find the subject fascinating, so keep up the good work and don t worry about the naysayers. I, for one enjoy these threads and posts. Now if only I had something to post re Keighley s ground improvements or heaven forbid, a new stadium, my day would be complete.

Why would we receive a delivery of sharp sand?
Firstly the piles havent even gone in yet and secondly we arn't laying a patio.


I would advise you ask for a refund from your private detective as he has sold you some duff info.

Wakefield are, as of today, exactly two weeks away from hearing the outcome of the public inquiry into the Newmarket site, just off the M62; if Mr Pickles gives it the nod, the proposed development includes the community stadium at which WTW will be anchor tenants.

It's been a long wait but hopefully, good sense will prevail and we'll finally be off and running.

Serious question. Haven't they resolved the issues yet? If not, no wonder the government is in s**t.
