Dropkick Murphy..we actually saw and heard a mass of bouncing and scarf and flag waving to Dale Cavese that drowned out anything we could muster.. It stopped us singing our own celebratory songs, it died out seconds later when we accepted we couldn't be heard over the Wigan lot
Celebrations muted from us, job done from them. Most fans who slag them off are jealous their own club's support is nowhere near that good
-
sally cinnamon..Why not discuss Wigan? It's a rugby league message board. Wigan are the most famous brand in rugby league
-
Tre Cool..Saints fans are hopeless unless it's a cup final or grand final. Wigan fans are so much more loyal and passionate
-
the flying biscuit..Wires havent been massively succesful over the years, but I've spoke to Brian Bevan And he spoke to me and i wouldnt swap that for Wigans History, ever
-
Ande..on the TV i could only hear the Wigan fans with about 10 to go
-
Saint94..Every team is in your feckin shadow, we all know

That will surely cost a lot! They must be confident of making money from it if that is true.

When is the home terrace being finished?

Well it might end up costing KR nothing if for example say Premier Inn decided they wanted the hotel and stumped up for the hotel and stand.

Good business if you can find a party willing to build it for you.

Fair play to Hull KR, they seem to be getting stuff done. I know the cases are completely different but compared to Cas & Wakefield they're not hanging about.

They could charge a fortune with a 'sea view' as well

Although it may not be a seaview we can off them views of the Humber Bridge which was the former largest suspension bridge in the world (Now 5th), The former largest in Europe (Now 2nd) and still the largest in the UK.
It may not be much but I feel it is still something to be proud of.

Is this part if the Allan arrangement? If so, I'd approach cautiously if I were Rovers...

Good news mate.

I didn't think they would call it in, as you know. Eric Pickles office was coming under justifiable criticism since the current coalition government took power for doing exactly what they said they wouldn't do, holding up the planning process and not cutting red tape. The New Planning Policy Framework was seemingly the tool they needed to turn a rather shambolic approach around to this more sensible approach... hence the reason they have left this well alone.

I think it is clear that Newmarket wouldn't have been called in if it had been submitted in more recent months and it is looking like, although we still await the final answer, that that will be proved to have been a waste of lots of people's time, energy and local tax payer money.

You should also think yourself lucky you actually got a response out of him, they are still not very good with deadlines and when they miss a deadline they say, well it wasn't a deadline really (even though that it was it looked like to everyone else!) it was always just a target date... which we missed but don't worry, we will let you know as soon as we can!

PS. There is still a window now of six weeks where, if someone has deep enough pockets, they could ask a high court judge to review big Eric's decision... but I doubt that they would convince a judge they had a case and if they had the money to spare it would only probably delay the inevitable.

You just need to get the bloody thing built now!

Luck is a combination of preparation and opportunity

Just to avoid confusion Starbug is the username of Steven Pike

SOMEBODY SAID that it couldn’t be done
But he with a chuckle replied
That “maybe it couldn’t,” but he would be one
Who wouldn’t say so till he’d tried.
So he buckled right in with the trace of a grin
On his face. If he worried he hid it.
He started to sing as he tackled the thing
That couldn’t be done, and he did it!

I hope you've got the agreements regarding income sorted , or you end up like Donny and Leigh
