In his 6 seasons and one game this season he has received 4 sin bins and 2 red cards. That is a poor disciplinary record especially for a full back.

It's not terrible and considering most of those came last season. If you can find an average record from players who have also played 6 seasons of SL then i'll be willing to speculate.

He got the 2 red cards last season and a sin bin each in 2004, 2005 and 2006. Plus the one against Wakefield on Sunday.

Brent Webb - 5 sin bins in his first season.
Clint Greenshields - 4 sin bins in his first season.
Michael Platt - 2 sin bins last season (and a few suspensions IIRC).

A lot of full backs panic when they are the last line of defence.

And they're offence is deemed worse, much like the 'last man' rule in football. Holding down on the half way line or holding down when a player only needs to pass once 5 metres out to score has a different outcome.
