Just an observation about a man who I consider to be one of the worse refs I have ever seen. ( I can go back to 1976 ).
Last week in Hull he time and again called players back who where off side. He rarely penalised the player(s), as the player would stop in his tracks and try not interfer with play though he clearly was.
He did this again tonight when a Saints player was off side. This was on Wakefields last play and resulted in Danny Brough kicking out on the full. This I believe was because the offside player was interfering with play and caused DB to rush his kick.
The resulting scrum lead to a try for Saints from a forward pass.
Alibert ( if you watch it again) can be heard shouting to the Saints player that he is offside. After the kick he should imo have penalised Saints as there was no advantage, and DB was clearly effected by the on coming offside player.
They same happened last week at Hull.
If a player is offside he should be penalised as he must be interfering with play.
This is not an issue that would have altered the result tonight, but it could have. Does anyone agree.?
Before commenting try and watch the incident again. It was the try that gave Saints their 30th point.
