Imagine Johnstone of Johannesburg facing off against Makinson of Vladivostock at the magic weekend in Lahore!

All you've done is post a series of statements that are shown to be untrue by the fact that England won a series 2-1 against a nation that a few weeks showed that your beloved kangaroos are no longer the #1 team.
As an Australian, the level of Butt hurt you must be feeling now might just equal the bitterness of the ARL who daren't play GB next year as it might psychologically damage the 'roos who are in their infancy without their stars of the past.

And mods. This isn't me calling someone a troll because I disagree with it........it's because he's batshyte crazy and trying to wind up posters with his stupid opinions that are not backed up by fact......

I don't actually disagree with anything in this post of Jeans - think you're making yourself look obsessed.

Having now reflected on things, I think NZ look well placed in terms of building for 2021 and will be a force to be reckoned with. Not sure about England - there were some positive signs with some of the younger players but are there enough of them of sufficient quality to replace the old guard?

JESUS WEPT :WALL: HOW MANY TIMES?????
£20 a ticket and £15 on beer and merchandise.....so an away fan is worth £35. At best, 1,000 is the average away support split across 11 rounds and I am being really generous here, so Toronto, replacing say Wakefield will cost a SL club £35,000.
The minimum turnover of a SL club is £4,000,000 so Toronto instead of Widnes is worth less than 1% of a SL clubs turnover.

There are many valid reasons for and against expansion into America, but "AWAY FANS" isn't one of them. :BEAT:

In 2018, the score is England 3, New Zealand 1. England, missing 5 or maybe 6 first choice players had a couple of early calls from Sutton go against them and as such, once the Kiwis got ahead, it was game over in the 3rd test, but nobody cared because the series was in the bag.

Jean is an Australian and he will be feeling butt hurt, because on the results this year, England v Australia at a neutral venue would be too hard to call......and as an Oker he hates the fact that decades of Kangaroo Dominance are in peril. If you thin the ARL refusing to play GB next year is anything other than a rejection of giving the England players the chance to get the edge over an Aussie side in its infancy the you're in denial.

And, for the record. I am Irish......I have no love of anything whether English nor British, but I know a troll when I see one and Jean is a past master of posting threads and comments designed to wind people up. The reality is that in 2018 England have hammered NZ.......him saying "if only" is just trolling.

Why won’t half of this team be playing in 2021? Age wise a lot of young players in.

All those will be aged between 30 to 36 years of age by 2021. We have 14 players there with loads of experience, how are the younger players going to replace them in just over 2 years with very little internationals being played.

The England Knights against PNG has only produced a couple of promising players but OZ and NZ have been blooding there young players now against the top international sides. We will very quickly be needing 2 half backs and about 5 forwards to get us into the next world cup just to be competitive.

New Zealand showed that they have great strength in depth. No Roger Tuivasa-Sheck (whose presence in the earlier games would have won NZ the series with his defence as well as his attack), no Isaac Luke (admirably replaced by Brandon Smith), and for game 3 no Jordan Rapana (ably replaced by Jermayne Isaako)

Probably missed their man-mountain Asofa-Solomona in their pack too!

As most Wigan fans would agree, George Williams has a very good short kicking game, but a very ordinary long kicking game. So naturally I assumed Myler would be doing most of the kicking. But no! It was mostly left to Williams, And of course, when you're up against one of the best kickers in the game in Shaun Johnson, the comparison is bound to be telling. That said, Williams was otherwise pretty good, and he defended well as he always does, often against Johnson, which is a nightmare for any defender. And good as his g0-forward is, McGillvary really doesn't look like an international class defender. And I don't know what he was doing with that sin-binning; it looked like he wanted the yellow! Talk about giving the ref no choice...

Other than being fairly generous towards NZ for a few high shots, Sutton was generally very good, and got the big decisions right. As he usually does. Much rather him than one of our clowns.

I think Williams has been average all series. He has the Shaun Edwards impression off to a tee - lots of short, quick steps while the upper body moves from side to side but the lower body doesn't side step, run 10m then give out a short pass to someone in no space.

You've got laugh at these delusional Wakey fans.

After their cryarseing over the selection of Makinson ahead of their beloved Johnstone, and Makinson since shutting them firmly up, over on their site they've now moved on to criticise the continued presence of George Williams in the England side and believe Ryan Hampshire should be ahead of him in the pecking order.

Wigan got rid of Hampshire and kept Williams so that ends that argument.
