Derek is still here, and we are not 'cash strapped'. He is just keeping his 'hands in his pockets' next season, that's all.

Letting the dust settle, with the sounds of things.

Decent coach and some decent players o the Horizon, but all PT.

Is John Duffy really worth tapping up?
I can think of plenty of other coaches who would have been available for an approach. Never understood the hype for Duffy personally.

A promising coach, who has played over 200 games for Leigh. Therefore he has an affinity with the club and, hopefully, will bring us back to a club containing a base of local players, displaying a pride in the shirt, and playing attractive rugby. (something that has been lacking, certainly over the past twelve months)

Personally, I think he would have comfortably made the top four with Fev, but for a crippling injury list, and the consequent reliance on scraps offered by their DR partner - Leeds.

And here was us Leythers thinking that it was the other way round - i.e. PR tapping up Toronto!
